Specially cultivated in Japan, Ume from Minami Takaume has many reasons for its popularity. The sour taste goes well with anything you pair with it, whether it be a bowl of rice or Tonnjiru (a pork based vegetable soup)! As a great addition and side to your meal, you'll find yourself reaching into the fridge for it when serving yourself, friends, or family. The natural aroma that emanates as soon as you open the packaging, will increase your appetite!
It is said that consuming umeboshi can possibly help with fatigue recovery, enhance your appetite, and is great for your skin and aging! It is also a great way to neutralize the acidity in the body. For example, when eating 100g of beef, you would need to consume about 900g of cucumbers, when in comparison, you would only need to consume about 5g (about 1/2 to 1) ) of ume. Taking this into account, it is much more efficient in neutralizing the acidity in your body compared to a lot of other vegetables.
Salt concentration is about 16.5 ~ 18.5%.
It has quite a mellow salt concentration, and has no additives (uses no chemical seasonings, sweeteners, colorings, and preservatives).
The size of the umeboshi will vary from large grains (about 15g ~) and medium grains (about 7 ~ 14g).

日本国内で丹精込めて特別栽培された南高梅を、平釜でじっくり煮詰めにがりを残した塩と、国産しそで丁寧に漬け込み、天日干しで仕上げた伝統的な味わいの梅干です。
塩分濃度は16.5〜18.5%程度。
食塩はメキシコ、オーストラリア産天日塩を沖縄の海水で溶かし平釜で煮詰めにがりを残した塩を使用。
サイズは大粒(約15g〜)・中粒(約7〜14g)混合で、1パック約12粒です。
